Abi joined Oxeon to support organizations working towards more equitable solutions in healthcare. Having grown up surrounded by healthcare providers in the United Kingdom, Abi has always had deep interest in health access, health equity and a holistic view on care. She cultivated this interest through her undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College, where she double majored in Cognitive Science, focusing on neural decision making and health behavior, and Anthropology modified with Global Health. Additionally, Abi is an ambassador for a youth-based global change organization, Scarlet Udaan. The organization is dedicated to fighting Female Genital Cutting and is recognized by the United Nations as a Generation Equality Commitment Maker. Currently, she is undertaking a Master's of Public Health at Imperial College London to further understand the application of social determinants of health.
Throughout her time at Oxeon, she has worked across leadership disciplines, from operational and clinical, to financial searches. She has worked closely with Venture Capital backed organizations in their earliest phases of life, through Private Equity portfolio companies. She is motivated by mission-oriented healthcare organizations that help individuals of all backgrounds navigate the sometimes difficult and inaccessible dynamics of healthcare. Abi is excited to apply her knowledge and experience of healthcare systems around the world to create some of the solutions in healthcare, today.
