Annika joined Oxeon to combine her passion for healthcare with her love for building relationships and establishing connections. She is interested in identifying promising leaders with diverse perspectives to accelerate meaningful change in the healthcare system. Driven by Oxeon's mission to ‘make people healthier’, Annika works towards making the healthcare environment more equitable and serviceable for all.
Annika grew up in Evanston, Illinois and later attended Cornell University in upstate New York. She majored in Biology & Society with a minor in Inequalities Studies on the Health Equity Track. In addition, Annika was a 4-year varsity athlete on the Cornell Women's Soccer Team. During her time in college, she conducted orthopedic research, led leadership workshops for students, and worked with a justice coalition to make athletics more inclusive for all. Annika enjoys applying her education in medicine and working alongside industry leaders who are envisioning new possibilities in the field of healthcare. When she is not in the office, Annika can be found exploring New York City via farmers markets, watching live music, or playing pickup soccer.
