Dr. Reena Pande is a Partner at Oxeon and runs the firm’s Clinician Leadership practice. She is a physician, entrepreneur, and healthcare executive and most recently served as the Chief Medical Officer at AbleTo, a venture-backed virtual mental health company acquired by UnitedHealth Group. She has served as an independent Board Director and Advisor to several early and growth stage companies and as an Executive-in-Residence at .406 Ventures.
She has a passion for developing and positioning outstanding clinician leaders and supporting executive teams to understand how clinician leadership can have the greatest impact on clinical innovation and business growth.
Dr. Pande started her career as an academic cardiologist and clinical researcher at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA and served on the faculty at Harvard Medical School. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Harvard University, her M.D. from Harvard Medical School, and a Masters degree in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health. She completed her internship, residency training, and fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Vascular Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Reena lives in Milton, MA. She’s married to her college sweetheart, Ashvin, and they have two kids, Nikhil and Sonia. If she’s not busy cheering for her Boston sports teams, you can find her working on her golf game, learning the banjo, or experimenting in the kitchen.
