Her leadership roles also include positions at Best Doctors, Health Dialog and UnitedHealthcare. Sonia's commitment to improving healthcare began during her time as a Maternal and Child Health Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco, where she witnessed firsthand the consequences of a broken healthcare system. She currently serves on the boards of Clever Care Health Plan, Suvida Health, and Hopscotch Primary Care. Sonia holds a Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College. She resides in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, where she and her partner are raising the next generation of strong women as the parents of two daughters.
